Preparation and Planning

We were supposed to have tickets arrive today for the Nascar event at the Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth, TX. We planned and prepared everything in advance, from babysitters to making the most of the trip and visiting Dallas friends. I believe in making the most of every opportunity and getting the most you can. Well, the tickets didn't arrive and all our plans and preparation were no longer useful. Should we have not spent the time planning and preparing? Abosultely not. It was fun to plan and prepare for the event and look forward to the events of the day. Besides, there will be a diffferent adventure we have. However, if the tickets had arrived we were ready to make the very most of the oportunity. Planning and preparation help us make the most of hope, that which has not yet come to pass, but what we look forward to. Plan and prepare for the future.
